Applications
One company, many applications
Keep each application's work together while sharing your company organisation.
DynamicForm by AG Studio Ventures runs configuration-driven applications on web and Android. Give each application its own designs, work and identity within your company.
Choose your starting point
Every company has a Main application. AI Core adds an application for each blueprint it builds. It shows as Draft until it is published. Company administrators can also create hand-built applications with a code and a name.
The platform contains companies, and each company contains its applications. Shared company information supports those applications without making their designs or records shared.
View as a table
| Company level | Application level |
|---|---|
| Web address and sign-in | Screens, forms, list pages and master lists |
| Users, reporting line, branches and holidays | Workflows and their steps |
| Role permissions and data scope | Menus |
| Integration and API definitions | Reports and dashboards |
| API clients, limited to chosen applications | Records and documents created by the application |
| Company settings, OTP settings and theme library | Theme, logo, branded Android app and app key |
| Company administration | Separate data stores and application logs |
Sign in and choose
Sign in at your company's address. Your only application opens directly. With several applications, the dashboard shows their tiles. Each tile carries a logo or coloured initials, waiting tasks and a Draft badge where applicable.
The header switcher moves between applications, the dashboard and Company administration. DynamicForm remembers your last application. End users reach only applications their roles reach through menus, workflow steps or design functions. Company administrators see all applications.
The whole web app takes the open application's colours and logo. My tasks, the inbox and the case monitor follow that application's work. The inbox loads work in pages to stay responsive as case volumes grow.
Reuse with a clear copy
A screen, workflow or report belongs to its application and is never shared across applications. Codes only need to be unique inside an application.
Browse the company library for screens, workflows, master lists, reports and dashboards from your company's other applications. Before copying, review a plan showing the linked items that come with your choice.
For each linked item, use the target application's item with the same code or copy it into the target. The new copy remembers its source.
Choose application stores
Keep records, documents, files, logs and cache in company stores, or give an application its own stores. Choose logical separation within a shared store or physical separation in its own database, including on another server. Platform policy sets which layers may be separated.
Move an application layer when needed. Only that application pauses during the move, and its logs follow it. My tasks and dashboards still gather that application's work from its stores, even when the stores sit separately.
Scope connections and roles
Define integrations once for the company, then choose which applications may use each one. Designer pick lists show only integrations within the open application's scope. Scope cannot be removed while the integration is in use.
Limit each API client to chosen applications, so a calling system reaches only those applications.
A role can reach menus in several applications. Review its application tabs alongside permissions and record scope. Explore Company Admin for the people, access and settings behind your applications.
