• The requirement will change after go-live, often.

• It must run on web and mobile without two separate builds.

Where custom code still wins

• The core logic is unusual and is the product itself.
• Extreme, specialised performance is the main requirement.
• The user interface is the differentiator and must be fully bespoke.
